Update!

Woo hoo! I ran into my landlord on the way out to class this morning. Turns out she was gone over the weekend, which is why I didn't hear from her right away, and also that Jill and I do have the 2 bedroom! She figured that when she gave me an application for Jill to fill out that I knew it was ours. I thought someone else could come in before me and do that and get it, so that's why I was so worried.

But I called Jill today to let her know, and in less than a month, I shall have the best roommate ever and a bigger place for all our stuff! Ashley has a double recliner in our basement from when she lived on her own that Mom said we could borrow, and I still think her boyfriend should move in with us and let us use his furniture.

In other, less exciting news, I got a mere 69.7% on my lesson plan that I turned in for my Health class. Instructions were poor, I got a 2 out of 4 on the rubric (how that doesn't turn my grade into a 50% is beyond me, but whatever), and I'm pissed. The other girls at my table got even lower grades than me, which suprises me, 'cause they're both really smart, but still...that's ALMOST a C. What a bunch of crap. Almost all of the lesson plan has to be written out in first person, like, "Today, class, we will be starting a unit on blah blah blah." And everything has to be in first person like that...it's rediculous. I've never seen a lesson plan having to be written out like that. And the teacher talks a lot about if something's not clearly taught or your students are consistantly getting ONE question on a quiz wrong, to throw that out, and don't punish the students for your poor teaching and question writing...and yet...grr.

Anywho. Now I have to take a quiz and try to finish up my Review of Literacy paper. Adios!
